The Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Association of Western Pennsylvania offers two different Scholarship Awards during the year.

The scholarship awards have been established to support current and, hopefully, future members of the Order. Each award provides up to $4,000 and is granted based on academic achievement, financial need, and leadership. Our goal is to help you pursue your dreams and earn a degree beyond high school.

These scholarships have been brought into existence to benefit present and hopefully, future members of the Order. The objective of each is to assist any deserving applicant in securing a Degree.

PLEASE NOTE:
(These Undergraduate & Graduate Scholarship Awards are for Western Lodges only. These scholarships are NOT to be confused with the "Pennsylvania Odd Fellow-Rebekah Scholarship Program" which is chaired by Thomas J. McHugh, PGM.)

Undergraduate Scholarship
The Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Association of Western Pennsylvania Undergraduate Scholarship is presented to six (6) recipients (up to $4,000 each) attending full-time an accredited college/university or technical/trade school to aid them financially in attaining an undergraduate degree or an associates degree. The applicant must have completed at least one year of full-time enrollment and the applicant, or a living family relative, must be a member of the IOOF or Rebekahs of W. PA. All areas of concentration will be considered. An "Application" and "Rules" for the Award are sent to all the Odd Fellow and Rebekah Lodges in W. PA around the beginning of April of each year. Notification of this Award is also submitted to our monthly magazine, the Pennsylvania Odd Fellow and Rebekah Magazine. The application window usually runs from April thru June with a deadline for submission of the application usually around late June of the same year. The recipients are then notified before the beginning of the fall semester.

Undergraduate Scholarship
The Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Association of Western Pennsylvania "Graduate Scholarship" is presented to three (3) recipients (up to $4,000 each) attending (full/part-time) a graduate program in an accredited college/university to assist them financially in securing a degree requiring more than the usual four (4) years undergraduate studies to complete (i.e. Physician Assistant (PA), Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), etc.) or continuing their education beyond the undergraduate (4 yrs.) college level toward an advanced degree (i.e. Masters in Education (M.Ed), Masters in Music (MM), etc.). Al areas of concentration will be considered. Again, the applicant, or a living family member, must be a member of the IOOF or Rebekahs of W. PA. Notification of this Award is submitted for publication in the Sept.-Nov. issues of the Pennsylvania Odd Fellow and Rebekah Magazine. An "Application" and "Rules" for this Award can be found online or requested by mail at the addresses which will be given in the magazine. The deadline for submission of the application will be around mid-to-late November. The recipients are then notified around the end of December.

Undergraduate Scholarship - 2026

• The Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Association of W/PA scholarship committee will begin accepting applications from April 1, 2026, through June 27, 2026.
• One of the requirements for these Scholarships is that the applicant or a living family member must be a member of the I.0.0.F. or Rebekahs of Western Pennsylvania.
• Applications must be postmarked on or before Saturday, June 27,2026.
• Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

IOOF Day at Knoebels
PA Joint Youth Committee
Building the Future of Odd Fellowship
July 25, 2026

The Pennsylvania Joint Youth Committee works to encourage youth involvement and create
opportunities for Odd Fellow families to gather, connect, and grow together. Through events and activities across the state, the committee helps introduce younger generations to the values of Friendship, Love, and Truth while strengthening the bonds between our lodges.

One of our favorite traditions each year is the IOOF Knoebels Picnic, and we are excited to invite all members, their families, and friends to join us again this summer.

We will gather at Pavilion "S" at noon for a fun afternoon of food, fellowship, and family time at
Knoebels Amusement Resort.

One of the best parts of Knoebels is that admission and parking are completely free, making it an easy and affordable day for everyone. In addition, all registered children age 15 and under will receive THREE FREE books of tickets (a $15 value) from the Joint Youth Committee.
